hey guys,
so after all the work in the last month Ive done to my 02 f4i to make sure shes perfect, someone tried to steal it last night. I had it parked in my backyard in a fairly nice neighborhood and someone had the ***** to walk into the yard and try and grab it. Now theres a few things that stopped them from getting away with the bike but they sure messed my ignition up. They mustve tried to pop or break the igniton and one of the wires on the bottom of the ignition came loose and broke(pink wire). Now i can still use my key and everything turns on except for the fuel pump(not priming). I guess that pink wire has something to do with it. Now ive talked to an insurance agent and a local dealer, its cheaper for me to fix it myself but the question i have is:

After i buy the new base piece for my ignition, does the bike need to be re-coded?
