Default Help

going from 1st to 2nd is giving me alot of problems it takes several tries to get into 2nd gear but when I get into the gear its fine from there. Basically when driving if I'm going low speed and try to shift from 1st to 2nd it. Its like its skipping and not going in and making me stay in neutral. I've adjusted clutch cable but idk where to look next 01 cbr 600 f4i

Make sure it's not bent and moves freely enough to shift through neutral

I fiddled with the shift linkage and shifter position ill see if that helps if its not that then I'm pretty sure its either clutch or gear problems

or maybe an ordinary oil change.
I have seen bikes that had similar issues, and when the oil was changed it completely solved the problem.
It was because the guy owning the bike did not believe so much in regular oil changes or changing spark plugs.
When he finally did he had a different (much better) bike.
