So i did a small road trip with a buddy, as we were coming back, i noticed that i stoped accelerating, so i down shift, but still nothing, i pulled over to the shoulder and realized that i couldn't accelerate at all. and that any gear i put it in, acted as if i was in neutral, even though i clearly put it into 1st, or 2nd, or anything other than neutral......it still acted like i wasn't in gear.

we were about 100 miles away from our finish point. thankfully i had AAA, so i just had to wait half an hour for the tow truck.

my bikes a CBR 600 F2, and its treated me very well, so this is really unusual.

has anyone ever come across this situation? what might it be?

 

Stuck clutch cable perhaps?
