DDM kit here as well. Went with 5k or 6k and they still have a bit more blue than I want.

The base of the bulb has to be modified a little...

AND DON'T TOUCH THE GLASS ON THE HID BULB!
You will kill it...

I don't know I really like the yellow look and its said to be the most penetrating in all weather.

Nice cycle.com has pairs for 80 bucks an you can pick your color spectrum you want, been running their kit for 2 years and no problems went with the 8k and has a nice blue white color
