Question Guages not working

I'm in the process of buying my first street bike. It is a 2001 CBR F4I.
As i test rode it the other day none of the guages were working. what could this be?

Unless its a super deal,I would walk away from the sale.Who knows what else can be wrong. To answer your ? could be a short or the cluster is shot.If its a short you'd have to trace the wires to find the short.Cluster shot buy a new or working used one.

$3k for a stunt bike with electrical issues??? Did you ask WHY the gauges were unplugged? Most people don't just unplug them for no reason, especially when they're trying to sell it. Sounds like a shady deal to me...

dont buy that bike for 3k theres plenty of storys on here were people boutght a bike for 3k damn near perfect condition so id say its a bad deal.

plus i traded this 4 wheeler(worth 1600-2000 tops) for this 2001 f4i and even though it WAS a litely abused stuntbike it was the best deal ive ever made on cl

my bike has pizza pan sprocket,12 bar, full cage not on bike ,naked but other than that it is a great running/looking bike

JUST SAVE MONEY AND BUY ONE THAT YOU DO LIKE
