Default Gear selector

I been searching around and cant come up with anything. Im looking for the gear selector peg for the trans. If thats what its called, i been to a few sites but have yet to locate the part. Can anyone help me out here? Also is this something difficult to install? I couldnt make out on my bike how it would come off. Im good with tools and cars, but bikes are a new thing.

Thanks

you mean the shift lever?
look up the schematics at bikebandit.com
the shift lever is the first thing to break in a left-side crash

oh and the main thing is to make sure the slot on the lever lines up with the index marker (dot) on the '****' on which it installs.
