Default Gauges stopped working?

Hey guys. I've got an 01 F4i that I picked up last week. She's been running/driving great, until this morning.

I fired my bike up, started to leave, and noticed the gauges weren't working--tach, speedo, neutral light....
Where should I be looking first when I get home tonight after work?

Well, I've now put 3 fuses in....
First time, it lasted for about 10 minutes before cutting out.
The next 2 fuses lasted until I leaned the bike upright and fired it up. Time to start tracing wires

Looks like I've gotten it working (for now).....
There were about half a dozen wires behind/under the gauges that were just twisted together with no cover on them, so I went on a taping spree until I can get my soldering gun and multimeter in there.
