Can timing being retarded or advanced cause this?? I got a guy who works with my dad to change the cct and come to find out he's not as good as he claims to be. I'm thinking he has It a tooth or 2 off since doing the cct.. Anyway to check?

CCTL change wouldn't do anything to the chain, you don't touch it or move the engine at all while swapping.
TB leaks are the rubber boots and normal, certainly wouldn't cause extra fuel to be in the exhaust.

today i crunk it up and let it warm completely up, after doing this i started unplugging the connectors from the coils 1 by 1.. on each cylinder when i unplugged the connector it would bog down and lose rpm and backfire until plugged back in.. until i got to #4 (cylinder closest to CCT) and when i unplugged it, it did nothing... stayed the same. so i moved that coil to the next cylinder over and retried, same thing same cylinder.. im guessing bad cylinder.. any advice?
