I get 45 to 48 mpg consistantly on my F4i (unmodified). I tend to ride pretty easy and very little highway, but also very little stop and go. I also ride two up quite a bit, but that doesn't seem to really affect my mileage. My buddy has a 2005 1000RR and he is about 35 mpg (slip-on as only mod). He tends to ride much harder than me and rarely two up.

Who really cares? Two different riders on a similar bike say an F4icould get a up to 10mpg difference due to their riding styles. It comes down to how itchy your ride hand is.

1KRR will be in the low 30s. F4i will be in high 30s and 40s unless modded....
my F4i gets 31 whether i hammer it or not.

i get some where in the 30s to 35 mpg. i dont conserve fuel. with a gas station on every other block i dont see the point, and 13 bucks for the whole tank is not much of an expect for me.
i like to blast the throttle once in a while. on a highway its nothing less that 7-8k rmps ( i like to be heard)
