Default Milage on your RR's

Dear all riders,

QUESTION 1.
- may i know whathas ever been your highest milage onyour motorbikes - honda 600 RR?? We have some arguments with my friends.

QUESTION 2.
If we consider that we service a new bikeby each 5000 km in a service and you drive, let's say "NORMALY":-) how many km could such a bike last?

Thank you for your answers.

I'm on my first bike it has 2500 miles on it, but a friend of my step dad's has an old CBR 600 1998 with over 90k. It is really beat up though, I think he might of given up on taking care of it.

Recently bought a very nice 1992 Yamaha FZR 600 with 32K. Runs and drives like a champ and looks awesome.

06 CBR600RR - 11,800 miles
Oil and filter every 2000-2500 miles or 3 months
Chain lube and check/adjust every 500 miles or every 2 weeks
Air filter check/clean/replace every 2000-2500 miles or every 3 months

"thirdgenlxi" has a 2004 F4i that has well over 100,000 miles on it and it's still going strong.......and from the sounds of it, nothing but normal maintenance.

CBR- 7400 miles currently. Only used for back road and mountain road blasting.
Katana- 47,000 miles. Runs like new
Aprilia- 24,000. Runs better than new
SV- Over 10,000.

I have seen many RR's with well over 100K miles on them and they run excellent.
