Default Fuel Pump not priming?

So my headlights (both low and high beam) weren't working. We tried several things to get it to work. We ended up just directly hooking up the headlights to the battery via two separate switches, one for each beam. Everything was working great, bike started up just fine. We put the fairings back together, seat back on, let the bike sit on the battery tender for a few hours while we ate. Came back to turn it on and ride and the fuel pump refuses to prime. Also it is cranking just fine. Just doesn't want to start at all because well there the fuel pump isn't priming.

Few things:
Low beam is a HID.
Everything else on the bike works.
Headlight harness is not bypassed.

Thanks for the help!

Going to check the fuel pump filter on Friday and if that isn't it then I am towing it to the Honda dealership and just get it checked out by a professional. Any suggestions would be great!

I dunno man, I'd say check you sub harness on the left side of the bike behind the plastic up close to the radiator. Mine has a bad connection and has to be kinda tweaked to actually connect, takes just a touch to mess up the connection. If you take off the plastic and fiddle w/ the harness and can get it running then that's your culprit.

Check you bank sencer (there fairly common to go bad, i went threw 2 befor i said **** it and i jumped the 2 wires) another way to see if your FI pump is good, is to take 2 peices of wire, plug them into your fuel pump (green is ground) and hook it to a 12v item as your battery or charger. if your fuel pump kicks on, odds are its faulty kill switch or faulty bank angel sencer.

Check your fuses, too. Hopefully it's not those, or you'll feel like a huge idiot.

You need your headlight harness plugged in because of the BAS or else the pump wont prime so did you unplug it when you did whatever you did with the headlights?

Headlight harness is plugged in.

Fuses were all good. I had taken each one out and visually inspected them.

I'll check out the other suggestions. Thanks.
