Default Fuel pump does not prime

Hi I am new to this forum and I figured this would be a good way to start. My '01 f4i will not prime when I turn the ignition on. I followed the wiring diargram and worked my way through all the way till the fuel cut off relay (the last thing before the fuel pump). I have checked the main fuse, by-passed BAS, checked both the engine out off relay and fuel cut off relay and they all checked out ok. The problem is, when I turn on the ignition, on the run position, I hear the engine cut off relay click, but i do not hear the fuel cut off relay click (the relay does work), there is no prime. Also, I jumped the fuel cut off (brown and black/white) and there is no prime? Huh? When I give the brown wire direct power from the battery the fuel pump primes, so the fuel pump works. Also, the power commander does not turn on, if this is relevant. So I am stumped. Any help?

Is your headlight wiring harness connected? My fuel pump and power commander didn't respond until I reconnected my headlight.

the headlight wiring harness is connected. i checked the voltage the fuel cut off (4) with the relay removed. with the bike off, all the pins had voltage. brown/black, black/white (2), and brown. im not sure, but is the brown supposed to have voltage?

Did you purchase the bike with the PC already in it? Did the bike run fine before? Basically, what happened that your fuel pump stopped priming. Did you take it off? Just trying to source the problem, yo.

Disconnect the fuel pump (black connector) Turn the ignition on, and measure the voltage between the terminals. If there is voltage for a few seconds, your pump is bad, no voltage means you should check the main fuse, sub fuse, engine stop switch, fuel cut-off relay, engine stop relay, bank angle sensor, and ECM.

ok guys, i figured out that there is no juice coming from the back/brown wire (it leads to the computer). does anyone know why the there is no power coming from that wire? i check the continuity and its fine, but there is no power coming straight from the computer.
