Damn it...

Was going to bleed my front brakes. I went to take the screws out of the front reservoir cap and the damn things stripped. It seems like they are pretty soft. Time to break out an extractor.

 

I have done that twice now. I tapped it and put some allen bolts in it.

 

i dremeled a slot in the screw head, then used a flathead screwdriver to remove it. i bought some replacement screws at ace hardware that use an allen wrench instead of a phillips screwdriver. have worked great so far!

I thought about using the Dremel to slot it, but I didn't want to nick the cover. I ended up using one of those Grabit extractors. It worked really well. I went to Lowes to get some temporary replacements, and will get some SS Allen heads tomorrow.

I needed to get it fixed quick so I can get my new tires installed. I can't wait for those
