Default Fuel lock

Just took the bike out for a ride went to put gas in the tank. The key would not go in all the way it looks fluke there some kind of white gunk in it and it won't let the key in all the way. Any ideas how to clean this stuff out.

Take the whole cap off the bike, stick a skinny screw driver in there, spray some wd-40 in it. You can get new one's off ebay that don't lock if you have to replace it.

the best thing to do is buy my spare keyless gas cap and never have to worry about this problem again!!

Yea, one of many things I had to work on when I bought my bike, glad it's working again.
