Default Taking out the lock from the fuel cap

Please help has anyone taken out the lock from the fuel cap and if so how do i go about doing that? there is a ring under the rubber with a small cut out but turning it does nothing, i think...

hey tom how are you

Are your pipes still for sale, and at the same time anyone, are the pipe the same for a second gen as for a first gen, i want to fit them on my 88.

HI, yes i still have the pipes but i dont know if they are the same. Im sure some one here can answer that for us lol

Sure you can ask lol,

I sold all the locks and keys but the my cap was scrached so i wanted to take out the lock so this person can put it in his fuel cap...
