Fuel issue?
Cbr f4i. Started it up after sitting for the winter and it ran fine. Didn't ride it. Shut it off. And tried to start again about a week later. Drained the fuel and put fresh gas in it. But wouldn't start. Checked today and I have spark. Tried spraying starting fluid with the air box off but wouldn't fire. Any ideas? Made sure the battery was fully charged as well and checked all fuses. Fuel pump kicks on with key in on position.
The killswitch cuts off spark, not fuel. What does your oil smell like? If it smells like fuel, maybe you had some fuel leak down into the cylinders and kill your compression.
If you have spark and fuel, makes me think compression.

Same here but it was running fine. Battery fully charged and spark looked good so doubtful it weak spark being the issues. To make sure it's getting fuel should I just put a small amount of fuel through each opening?
If the kill switch is turned off it won't start, no matter what else you do. Up there, next to the throttle grip.
