Anyone know if leaving the fuel petcock on open will flood a 97 f3 while its not running? Had my bike at a shop and they say it will. Didnt sound right to me but i dont know for sure

not if your carbs are in proper working order..
once the carb fuel bowls are full, the floats block any more gas from coming in...if the the rubber on the stop needles no longer seals properly though, i could see a mess happening..
anyways, i leave my petcock on all the time and have never had a flooding problem occur. although it is good practice to turn it to off!
