Can i use and aftermarket one? By the looks of the OEM on it's got 8mm ends with one end having an elbow. Anyone use a automotive type filter on their bike? I beleive with slight modifications, I can make a Fram/Wix/Delco brand work just as well.

 

Im wondering the same thing and also where to buy a fuel filter. I can't find one anywhere online for the f4i.

 

I was curious about this too. I read in some thread somewhere that the filter is in the gas tank and that it's basically a screen. I'm not sure if that's right or not. I haven't bothered to break out the shop manual yet. Anyway, at least this will bump the thread for you guys.
