Default front turn signals

I got some turn signals yesterday to replace the ones I had. Same kind, just black instead of carbon look. Problem is that the new ones only have a black and red wires. The wires from the bike and old signals have 3 wires...I messed with it some yesterday and figured out one of the three wires is for the blinking itself. So can I still do the swap? Or do I need to find another pair with three wires? Or can we run the bikes witout running turn signals and just have them working for the actual blinking itself? Make sence? Anyways let me know if anyone has input.

Thanks

You can wire them up to accept both stock power wires into the single red wire on the turn signal. Search the forums (both F4i and How-To sections), I know it's been posted about before.

You just need a diode on the running light hot and brake light hot, then tie them together. The indicators will be always on and blinking off rather than always off and blinking on.

Yup. What jeffjones said. I followed that procedure and was successful with my LED integrated mirrors.
