Front Turn Signals? Has anyone done this?
Has anyone cut the front turn signal bulges out and put flush turn signals on? Any input and/or pics would be great. I am just curious how much work it would be. Also, does anyone know where to find the black turn signals to replace the stock ones in case I decide to go that route instead?
Thank you very much for your time.

There would be a massive gaping hole if you shaved off the "bulge"
Too big for any flush mounts I've ever seen, but if you really wanted to you could shave them and fiberglass/back fill the hole, then drill a much much smaller hole for your flush mounts.
Too much work IMO, we were blessed with the signals on the F2, no big long stalks sticking out 4"!

just don't think it will look good with white cbr and red decals and orange lights. Are those lights interchangeable with black and clear? Also, the tail is a single dual filament is that correct?
I shaved mine, here's how it looks:

I have since installed some Hot Bodies flush mounts for a CBR600RR in the same approximate location as the stock ones, but haven't gotten around to taking new pics with them and the new decals yet.

I whacked them off with a cutoff saw and glassed them over. That's an aftermarket fiberglass cowl that was full of stress cracks anyway, lots of glass and bodywork on that baby. If it were plastic, my buddy has a plastic welder that would have worked just as well if not better. He welded up several long cracks in my lower cowlings, made 'em look like new. Many body shops have the same type equipment, it's basically just a big soldering iron, with plastic filler rod. If you've got some scrap pieces of the same type plastic, you could probably do that yourself.

I am definitely going to do this to my bike, where would I buy fiberglass sheets like that? Assuming probably a auto body store? Are the front and rear lights dual filament, single filament?
You don't want to use fiberglass unless your fairing is fiberglass. For plastic welding, try to find an old busted up fairing made from the same type plastic. The lights I used are super bright LEDS from Hot Bodies.
ya I know a guy in who has probably 20 sets of f2 fairing just sitting in his garage. I am sure I can get 2 beat up ones and just cut out the pieces I would need and plastic weld them. THanks for the ideas guys.
