No tips needed, it's simple to do. All you have to is loosen the back wheel and move it forward enough to let the chain clear the sprocket. the bolt that holds the sprocket on is/can be a bitch to remove.

To loosen the front sprocket bolt Isit on the bike and push down on the rear brake pedal and thenreach down the left side to loosen the bolt. I pulled the rear axle and moved the tire forward enough to remove thesprocket. Pretty easy job, took about 20 mins.

Yes you will notice one tooth, especially in the front, in the rear probably would not notice only a 1 tooth difference, but it will pull a lot harder with a -1 front....

i JUST did this....with a 520 conversion...but yes you will notice it pulling harder..i couldn't test it much cause i was in my underground garage..but i could feel the pull a little more even at low rpms.....

as for putting it on...stand on the right side of the bike....put your left foot on the rear brake lever, reach over the left side of the bike and grab a breaker bar and brake the bolt loose....then it's easy as pie from there...just make sure you have a torque wrench to properly torque the new gear down after putting it on....

as a side note, you'll probably notice it is CRAZY dirty in the front box...cover and guide....i took the time to get in there with a degreaser and clean everything up nice....just makes me feel a little better...
