Or find a rim shop and see if they can repair it, then you'd have time to find a new one.

Psssst.....Dont' tell anyone I told you this:
Your M/C dealer has a mechanic that can do it (off the record). It's usually the burly unshaven guy who they like to keep away from customers because he curses and doesn't bathe often. I'm sure he'll bang it back and balance the rim for $50 bux.

You can get it repaired (for much cheaper than a wheel on Ebay). But take it to a shop that specializes in repairing wheels. You do NOT want to just bang it back into shape. That will weaken the material!

Here is my experience with fixed wheels:

I ride through Washington DC all the time (HORRIBLE ROADS) at regular speeds 25-35 and hit potholes 1ft+ deep in some places and my rims stay fine....are you sure it couldnt have happened before the speed bump.....maybe the rim was damaged before?

Anyways.....sorry to hear about it.... that def sucks ***!! Hope you get it fixed quick and cheap!

Do you check on your tire pressure frequently? Low tire pressure could cause an easy bend or break in a rim when hitting a bump at any speed.....
