Well i went over a speed bump today at a slow speed but not slow enough and bent my front wheel on my 2002 f4i and its only holding air for a little while now!!. I was wandering if the cbr 600rr wheel is the same rim. can i just get one of those to replace mine?? I have found a few of rims on ebay butnot a bunch.

If anyone knows where i can pick one up for a good price or anyone who has one let me know!!

 

How fast were you going? I'm surprised a speed bump can bend a rim.....

 

I was going as slow as i could so i wouldnt fall. The speed bumps were brand new and huge...funny thing is they came and fixed them today after all the complaints. I bottomed out as well, and you could see all the scrapes from other cars!!

Glad you find it funny *******!!Now i cant ride because of some stupid *** speed bump. You can bend the lip of the rim the same way on a pot hole. Just the lip is bent not the whole rim. But the bead will not hold!

 

man... think i'll be more carefull around speedbumps now. sorry bro, that sucks.

try to find a motorcycle graveyard. that's where i'd start.

when i bent the rim on my car, i got a new one at a graveyard for $25 and it lasted me about 100,000 miles before i sold the car. i had to go on a road trip to get it... but it was well worth it.

every major town should have a graveyard somewhere... start calling around.
