front brake locked up after crash
i have just found out that the front brake on my 05 f4i was locked up after i layed it down doing like 40. it seamed to be fullied applied. and then all the sudden it started working. i was woundering if there is anything i should check to make its not damage on the brakes before i ride it again in a few months? or should i take it some where to have the brakes checked out? becuase i like being able to stop from time to time lol

Don't take this the wrong way, but your *** depends on the brakes. I would definately have a professional look at it if you suspect anything may have caused it to lock up. It it IMO worth replacing everything if there is even the slightest suspicion. just my .02. Good luck.

yes have it checked out...but i'm not sure who would constitute as a professional...the shop? well, those guys don't do thing any different than someone following the manual...only thing is they're out to make bling off you and out to get as much work done in as little time as possible. the only difference is that they have insurance on their work and you don't.
it does seem odd that the brakes became fully locked after you crashed...i would suspect something is bent rather than brakes being stuck...perhaps a fork was out of alignment for a bit and then slid back into place.

the forks were not bent at all. i dont understand what you mean by the forks being out of allignment? . my brother has had it out down his road and said its working fine.
should i bleed the brakes and change fluid? its a dark color i just found out its should be clear.
if the master cyclinder has damage to it should i get a new one?
any ideas of things to check before i take to a shop?
the front fender is bent a little but not shure if that was before or after the accident. it has been down before.
