yeah, i would never cut the plastic, that way when you wreck the things just break off and don't do a damn thing anyways right... RIGHT!?!
little hint of sarcasm cut the plastic man, it's super easy and doesn't mess up your bike or anything 2" holesaw and a drill, takes like 2 min and looks great.

Well from experience i'd just get the frame sliders that require you to cu the plastic. My bike has been laid down twice. And wether anyone believes me i wasn't riding it either time. First time i made the mistake of letting a friend ride and what happens he drops it. $3200 worth of stock plastics and parts was the ins. quote. But i bought aftermarket fairings for $700. The second time i sold the bike to this girl and 2 days later she let a "friend" ride and he dropped it. Before i sold it i put on some sliders that didn't require cutting. Guess what they broke off and the bike had damage anyway. I recently bought it back from her cause she could afford to and didn't know how to fix it. Now i'm gettin the sliders that require cutting. They are just a whole lot better. And will save you money.
Sorry for the bad news but its not if your bike gets dropped its when. Its just a fact of life. Just ride safe.
By the way not sayin you'll wreck it but i've heard too many times how people walk out to there bikes from being in somewhere shopping or whatever and find their bike knocked over.

just curious why you would rather not get any sliders than get them and cut the plastics? if you wreck new plastics are a couple hundred bucks... but a new frame???
it's worth the $50 investment and it is no big deal cutting the plastic, if you need help feel free to ask or pm us and we can walk you through it, theres got to be a thread on here somewhere with install walkthroughs as well if you want to do a little searching...
