FRAME SLIDER
I am installing my Vortex Frame Slider as we speak. On the left side (shorter bolt) I have no problem but on the right side (long bolt) when I removed the engine mount bolt I noticed that there is another fastener (a nut of some sort) in it which makes my slider not to sit properly on the frame and its stick out more than the other side. Should I remove this nut or better yet, am I allowed to removed this? Any feedback will be greatly apprecaited.

DO NOT move that "nut". That is your engine mount. You do not want to change the alignment of the engine in the chassis.
Are you sure that you have them on the right side? My Shogun sliders were machined differently for each side.

I call the throttle side the rightside of the the bike. Is that correct? The Vortex Frame Sliders has 2 different size bobbins that holds the puck. One is bigger than the other (diameterwise) & this will only fit on the right side. It came with a longer bolt. I got the engine mount bolt off but there is a socket hex cap screw in it which is probably you are correct Blackdog F4i that this is an aligning sleeves for the engine mount & should not be remove. Thanks a lot for the info.
