fix a flat?

Has anyone used fix-a-flat on their tire?

Yea I have used it in my bike. I wouldnt suggest it its fine until you get going over 75 then you can feel the wobble also if you ride hard a lot its not to good arround the turns. But I rode on my " fix a flat" tire for like 6 mos.

use it to get you to a shop and buy a new tire

I would plug the thing before I would intensionally put something in the that is gonna throw the ballance off.

Yeah. Definately get it plugged. I have a plug in my rear tire. It's been about a year and I've had no problems even at 100+ mph. It still makes me worry though, due to the mental "block".

funny you mentioned this cause I bought this to fix my tire, and drove just under 20 miles to a dealership for new rubber:

stop and go tire plug kit

I used it and it works like a BOMB, it is awesome. EVERYONE who rides should own one of these, I probably could have done fine riding on this even longer, but I wasn't going to take a chance.

Fix your tire with the kit above (it's REAL SIMPLE), and drive to a shop and get new rubber PRONTO!!
