That is different. I still dont think I would really allow myself to trust that.

I had a small staple in the rear tire less than a month after I put it on...and I'm damned if I was gonna sink another $150.00 for another Pilot. I bought a tube of green "Slime" and the rest is history...

How well does te green slime work and would you put it in a new set of tires to prevent a flat? I just bought Metzelers for my bike, but the havent arrived yet.

The last time I got a flat I was miles away from homeor a shop. Isnt that always the story?

Anyway anything tp prevent that again or having to trailer my ride sparks my interest.

those are nail-guard tires and have been around for a while, they come factory equipped on some 300c's from continental... You would be surprised how easily they can still leak from a puncture, and they are a bitch to balance because they are so heavy

It works pretty well for most punctures from small nails, glass, etc (best,if whatever caused the puncture has been located and removed). Put it in new tires, or older, doesn't matter.

And yes, that's always the story, but thiscan probably keep that from happening again - good stuff.

I dunno if I could trust the slime to hold up at high speeds.

If I am going 120+mph, the last thing I would want is more tire to blow [:-].
