the past three times i went ridding my FI light comes on for a spit second then goes away (not at start up, but when i have been riding for a minute or so)... when it comes on the bike bogs down like it isn't getting any fuel, butthen is fine when the FI light turns off...

it doesn't stay on for anyextended amount of time and i haven't notice it blinking at start up...anyone know what this mightbe??

 

Do you have a power commander on your bike? Sometimes when one is installed it messes with the FI. Just needs to be recalibrated or remapped. Also another thing you can check is the battery.Sometimes when they get weak the FI llight comes on.
Just a couple of things to start with.

 

check your connections. IE battery, head lights, and any wires that may see loose. Also is it on smooth roads or bumpy roads when you see this? How many miles do you have? Have you did any upgrades recently? Any other information would be helpful.

the bike has 21K miles on it, i do have a PCIII that I installed a year ago, haven't done any recent mods that would affect the ingition system and the problem comes randomly... the first time i was slowing for a stop light, the second i was in a wheelie, and the thrid i was driving on the interstate...
