FI Issues
The FI light comes on & the bike lurches for a about a second as if no fuel is being pumped and then goes back to normal. As far as I can tell this happens when I'm low on fuel(the reserve is not hit yet) & accelerating good, generally around 70-80 in 2nd gear. The whole lurch feeling is crazy cause you get thrown forward & you feel wtf & suddenly you're back in control.
I always put in the top grade of gas(the dealership said so). Do I need to get the FI checked or get some additive for the fuel. My bikes a 06 so it's still under warranty.
I've put about 4200 miles since may & got the 4000 mile service just last week
Feedback appreciated

The bike is designed for 87 Octane. The dealer is full of **** because most of us are running "regular" gas with no issues. If they give you a hard time tell them to look it up in the owners manual.
If it's under warranty take it back in.

well thats true but the octane rating will not give the problems he is encountering. you probably have a electrical problem where it fires most of the time and at certain time it looses contact. but the dealer should look at it for you. maybe something to do wtih power to the coil, mabe a loose connection, it's probably something very simple.
