f4i...worth it?
yea right the reason i went with the R6 (before 2006) was because no one around here had them, it was all about the gixxer which it still is. i would rather not ride a bike then ride a gsxr lol. but yea i will defiantly be keeping my eyes peeled for an f4i in the near future when i get the funds for it, cant beat the prices i see them as low as 3k[sm=wootwoot.gif]
dude screw yamaha they have so many problems! the 03-05 r6 has much bigger problems than the f4i. i've owned both too. performance wise, i'd probably go for the r6...but if i had to choose i'd pick the f4i hands down.

I think Yamaha also makes or recently made a R6S based on a previous generation R6 (but I could be wrong) that had pretty good ergos.
i want a more comfortable bike around town that still has the power
My 03 F4i is extremely comfortable. the R6s is based off the 04 R6 and they brought it back because it was so popular and a bit less aggressive as their new ones. Yet, its still more aggressive than my F4i. You cant go wrong with it. there are plenty of ways to get that little extra kick in Hp if you need it
The 1st sportbike I rode was an R6 something like 01 model. Someone said something about forgetting the bike is there on the Yamaha: I thought I was the only one who felt that way. It throws around like a BMX and for me, for the street I would likely do things that I would've thought a second time about (dangerous).
Once getting the F4i dialed, there is nothing it doesn't do well. It doesn't do anything superb per se, but it doesn't do anything wrong either.
There are many times I've done stupid things and gotten away with them that I know on another bike I would have eaten asphalt.
If I were racing Supersport, I'd probably go Yamaha, but I recall on a trackday eating a late model (maybe 04-05) R6 alive on the front straight and it wasn't because of better drive or more bravado (don't ask me how, I'm just as confused as you).
For the street, I don't think you can beat a Honda, but at the end of the day, buy what makes you feel good.

I wouldn't knock any of the "big 4" 600's because they are so similar... after all, they are built to compete in super sport races. Out of all the bikes I have ever owned, the R6 is the one I wish I still had, but it was never the same after it did a couple flips at Summit Point.
Look the good part about the f4i is you can make it whatver you want very easily. you can rip it, you can carve with it, you can stunt it, you can cruise it, you could even throw some bags on it and take a trip if thats your deal. its a solid all around good bike. Thats jus not the Honda in me speaking , i have bumped around on a few other bikes as sad as that is

WOT- Why didn't you try GMD Computrack?
WOT- Why didn't you try GMD Computrack?

I think computrack guarantees their work. Oh well. I guess you wouldn't endorse their services, huh? (since you're the only one I know that has a computracked bike)
