A lot of my mileage has been commuting or cruising around (and some playing around in the twisties). I don't ride like a grandma, but I try not to be an *** to others on the road, either.

Only performance mod that I know of is my exhaust, but I guess I'm still in the "honeymoon" phase learning about everything the previous owners did or didn't do to it.

I just remembered it's also geared -1/+2. I always account for it when I calculate my gas mileage, but forgot to here. So really, it's only about 125 miles on a tank.

i know my bike is running rich, with a k&n air filter and yosh slip on. i only get like like 120km to a practically full tank. i generally shift between 7 and 8, is that really riding it very hard?

I think it depends on how fast do you get to 7-8 rpm's... but I ride like you sometimes, but almost every time i'm between 4-6 rpm's with quick shifts...

I don't know but i think it's ok...

I usually shift around 5k in city riding, 6-7k in the open.
