F4i Temp
If you were hitting 237 in 93 degree weather...something's wrong. My bike never gets above 225 in long bouts of traffic...even in 105-110+ degrees. That really sucks though...110 all around you, and with that radiator fan blowing all that hott-ER air out of the fairings into your legs.

Guess I might have a problem then, I was riding the highway today and my temp guage said 199-207 when I got off the highway it read anywhere from 227-237, it was 93 and humid here today.

Could be time!
i was worried about the same thing so i changed my coolant out for engine ice. didnt make a diff at lights or anything. on a hot (90 degree) day it will get to 225-226 at lights, then start to go down with the fan on 226 is the highest ive seen it so far. i did notice that once i start moving it cools faster tho. my question is, ive heard alot about water wetter, i know its to be added to water in the system, but could you add it to engine ice? and would it make a diff? it still worries me when the temps get to like 210-220 cuz this is my new toy only like 2 weeks old i dont want anything to be wrong with it ya kno.

Kinda curiousto know how hot everyone's F4i runs on a hot day (85degrees plus). And also wated to know @ what temp you should shut the bike down.

When mine hit the upper 230's it was in rush hour traffic in town, I was backed up in about a half mile of traffic behind astop lightthat took 25 minutes to get through, every time we moved it was only about 40-50 yards, so maybe it's not too bad for it to get that hot.
