RE: F4i performance modification ?'s
Thanks for all the replies and advice thus far guys. I know its probably all been covered in posts here and there, but I appreciate the help. I don't really trust anyone else for advice either, you guys all own your bikes and mostly do the work yourselves, its nice to have those kind of resources.
Is there any particular order or route to go when upgrading? Is there advantages to doing certain things before others (i.e. Exhaust/pc vs Sprockets)?

RE: F4i performance modification ?'s
if you want power, obviously a full exhaust and PC3 with custom map is the way to go. Once you get past that, it starts costing more and more per HP. I don't see a power commander as a performance modification as much as a tuning tool to make your performance modifications function like they are supposed to. Throw a PC3 on a stock bike and it may smooth it out a bit, but your not going to gain real HP. The big difference is when you use it to optimize your bike for an exhaust or other modifications that affect the air/fuel ratio.
-1/+2 is a popular combo (mostly because people see the "-1/+2" everywhere more than because its a good combo for this bike in particular, the same change is popular for bikes with MUCH different stock gearing as well)
Your bike won't feel like a 1000 but it will feel like a 600 with a lower gear ratio, which is good for a lot of fun.
