Im hesitant to call this a no start, but here goes
Bike is a 2005 CBR F4i

Its not mine, but its a friends.

She states "the bike will crank over when i hit the start button, and fire up. But as soon as i let go of the start button, it dies. If i hold the button, i can even rev it up, but the instant i let go, it dies"

Any help? I do all my own work on my bike, but its a suzuki, and thats all i've worked on.[/align][/align]I've been told to take about the start switch, and look for a short, and as soon as i get the bike, i will, any other ideas?[/align]

 

clogged fuel filter, short, dirty air filter, idle speed adjusted wrong..does it have a PCIII?

 

it turned out to be the "rake angle sensor"
or so she says
