F4i HID headlights
Has anyone been able to find a housing to build out some custom HID headlights? I have looked endlessly to no avail. I know there are kit assemblies that are plug in play, but I would like to build it myself with better features.
I usually bake headlight in oven @170F for 15-20min to separate the front & rear clamshells to separate halves.

Then replace reflector section with my own panel to hold HID lights. In this case, I used piece of CF from TAP Plastics shaped to same perimeter shape as reflector assembly so it's clamped between clamshell halves like original reflector. Also bolted to rear section. Then HID light is screwed into CF panel.

You're welcome! Here's intermediate stage. I spaced out CF panel from rear-section so that bulb-connector poked out back at same distance as originals.
