i am thinking of installing a hid kit on my bike but i am worried that the heat from the bulbs will melt the housing on my headlight i have used them in my car but it has glass headlights does and one know if they will hurt the light over time? thanks for the input!

I have been using dual hids for a while. HIDS run at 35 watt most of them the higher intensity ones run at 45 watts. Your stock halogens run at 55watts they produce less heat.
