F4i Helibars discontinued!
I'm disappointed to report that Heli Modified has discontinued the manufacturing of the F4i model of their Helibars. And they have zero stock (I called today and asked.)
Does anyone else care? I'm put out because I haven't bought mine yet and I haven't found a dealer yet that has any in stock.

We might as well bring up the banana vs. split seat discussion. I like my nana by the way, big time. And I love the sissy bar for my wife even though this is not the ideal bike for two-up riding.
I'd simply like less work for my back and less strain on my wrists so I want Helibars. It's all about picking your general platform (F4i for me) and then customizing it to get it just right for the individual who'll actually be riding it. The F4i is super close to exactly what I want (in a sportbike) just needs a few tweaks to make my sun shine. FWIW, I'm 5' 11" with a long upper body. And, unfortunately, I'm riding infrequently enough (no commute right now and no riding buddies) that I don't really build up the back muscles I used to when I was riding more and going to the gym. So I put undue pressure on my wrists.
The platform you choose (F4i for me) should get you most of the way and you can customize it for those last few percentage points of whatever it is you need and want to make it ideal for you: power fine tuning, braking, looks, fit/comfort. Different for everybody.

RE: F4i Helibars discontinued!
After a big, unsuccessful phone search of most of the Heli Modified dealers in Florida and one in Australia, I finally found a pair of F4i Helibars in stock in a shop in the U.K.:

Graham there treated me well and the bars are in the mail. If they weren't across the pond, I wouldn't hesitate to do business with them again.

Glad to hear you got some. Ironically, the bike is designed for people with long legs, but more set up for people with short torsos. I am 5'4" and I can ride for hours non stop and not have any back problems. One tip for you, when your riding, take your left arm and put your elbow on the gas tank and use your backside of your hand to help support your throttle wrist. Makes it a bit easier to ride longer distances non-stop.

I also got a Crampbuster (the wide version) and it helps with the wrist so far but it doesn't do anything for my back.
For anyone who's interested, for city (stop and go) riding, I might buy the standard non-wide Crampbuster. I don't have a lot of room to grab the grip when braking with the wide model, but the wide model is certainly comfy when cruising.
