Hi, I was talking to my local honda dealer and was informed that the CBR 600 f was to be discontinued !
Honda uk don't seem to know - or are not letting on at the moment. Anyone know if thats correct or if there will be a replacement ?

 

Um yea.....F F1 F2 F3 F4i RR.....i think there are a few..my 89 was an F so im sure there are a few replacements

 

I don't know about the UK. In Canada it is sold as the F4i - and it has been discontinued here.

Either Honda won't run a 600cc "sports tourer" or something is in the works. I'm sad to say I beleive the former.

 

I guess the RR was changed enough to still be a first tier sportbike, but it has improved ergos so the F series was no longer needed. I'd like it is the F was made a little more distance oriented while keeping enough 'sportsbike' in it to not make a mini-tourer. Oh well, I guess an Interceptor is in my future when this bike hits 25,000 miles.

 

06 was the last year for the F4i. I would like to think they are bringing something else to the touring side, but who knows.

Forgot to add... I don't see anything listed for the 599 after 06 either...
