Default F4i Fork revalve and new springs

Got to change the fork oil on the bike and was looking into revalving and possibly putting new springs in. I dont really want to do a full fork swap. Ive never done this and was wondering if it was worth it or if i should leave the stock and just change the oil. Thanks for all the help

I revalved the compression/rebound, springs, and oil on my stock forks using racetech stuff. Feel way better than before. Much more responsive.

I only did this since I orginally got the compression/rebound valves for my ZX6r but ended up getting Ohlin cartridge for that bike.

Thanks! Did you like the racetech or ohlin better? Or is purely preference?

my ohlin cartridge forks are about $1200 new. racetech stuff was only about $400.

Ohlins are always worth it.

what you can do is look for used parts on wera. but for F4i, i would just stick with springs and oil change. change the weight of the oil to change the dampening properities

I did springs and gold rebound valves from racetech. I used oem honda 10w fork oil and compression valves. The difference is amazing. If I have them all apart again I might go to the racetech recommended 5w oil and have the rebound valves re-shimmed [they're set for 10w now].

So I am 212, 232 with gear with a slightly heavier Corbin seat... call it 8-10 lbs more.
Race-tech recommends a 1.01kg spring for my weight up front, and a 15.3 rear.

They don't sell my rear or close to it so I was going to go penske after this summer.

Will doing this spring, with rebound on front, be a bad thing to do before the stock rear is replaced? Will the ride and feel be too far unbalanced?
