bro my bike is doing the same exact thing, i know this post is ancient, but i need of help bike was down for 2 years and when i finally got it running, when crunk it is doing the exact same the wax unit would engage and rev the bike up for a few cranks but now overnight some how the only thing that will keep it from stalling is opening the throttle abit till it get to about 170° then it will run fine, did your valve adjustment fix yours???
