I have the same scheme in the 02 year.
That frame slider looks like it saved your bike from tons of damage +++!
Mine too has a carbon fiber exhaust and I never thought about it not heating up as much, I am def going to have to check how hot it gets out today.

Good point about the slider! The original owner laid it down, I need to replace that! Although I have no idea what make it is or anything. I guess I should just take it off and high tail it to the local dealership.

Or better yet, post a picture here and everyone would know exactly what it was!

The carbon fiber exhaust just doesn't get hot, at all. You can grab it after a long ride, and it feels slightly warm to the touch. In fact, the mounting bracket has a rubber collar on it, which I am certain would totally melt were it wrapped around a stock exhaust pipe.

No more burns baby!

this guys selling an akro in the classified section i pmed him but he has yet to reply...im still waiting for his response.

Yeah full exhaust are too damn expensive, im going to get a PC and slip on for now. Ill post pics when i get one for you guys to see.

I have a Devil shotgun pipe on my 02 F4i. Sounds sweet plus not too many people sport it. Good luck

yea they dont make that Devil Setup for the F4i anymore from what i understand, i would love to get my hands on it though lol

i have a high mount M4 carbon fiber and i love it. plus a high mount would prob be the way to go if your gonna make it a track bike
