Good point about the slider! The original owner laid it down, I need to replace that! Although I have no idea what make it is or anything. I guess I should just take it off and high tail it to the local dealership.
Or better yet, post a picture here and everyone would know exactly what it was!
The carbon fiber exhaust just doesn't get hot, at all. You can grab it after a long ride, and it feels slightly warm to the touch. In fact, the mounting bracket has a rubber collar on it, which I am certain would totally melt were it wrapped around a stock exhaust pipe.
