Default Exaust

Hello just wondering what’s going on with my bike bought an after market slip on for it and it seems to be restricted on power when I give it the beans not enough flow ? Needs a tune ? Any help would be appreciated

If it was a Carb bike I'd say it was running weak and needed rejetting. I'm not familiar enough with the F4i to say how to compensate for the loss of backpressure.

If you put the factory exhaust back on does it run normal again? You shouldn't need a tune for just an exhaust. It doesn't make much, if any, difference by itself. Even a tune won't give you a real boost in power. I had a custom dynojet, on dyno tune done and only gained something like 2hp. But the smootness of the power/throttle made such a huge difference!

As far as 'loss of back pressure', there isn't a need to compensate for it. If you have lost anything in the low end it won't be anything you'll notice but it would be made up in the top RPMs.

Ya man it’s like it has no pull between 6-10 thousand rpm then it goes like a bat out of hell didn’t do taht with the stock exhaust just odd is all looking for some answers and for the previous comment it’s fuel injection not carb 🤙🏼

Did you buy a slip-on which was made for your bike, or just a random one?

yes I did it was for the f4I fit up perfectly tan it with no baffle no problems but it was crazy loud put the baffle in and now I’m having the problem
