Default Electrical issue please help

01 cbr 600 f4i. Last night i parked the bike. I go to get back on it turn it on and the damn thing will only stay running while the starter button is pressed. The second i let go it shuts down. Doesnt even try to stay running. I noticed the turn sig ligs and high beam light is on when the starter is not pressed but when it is they turn off and it starts. Have any of you encountered this issue?

There's a relay that turns off the headlight to ensure plenty of current
to the starter/ignition.

The no start part. not sure. First thing, have battery checked at Autozone, etc.
Also check the voltage regulator/rectifier for signs of heat (melted plastic, burnt
connectors). It's under the right side fairing, about where your butt sits.

Here's a pic of mine.

Hope this helps, Ern

how about this for some ****. I pull the left headlight out and the bike starts and runs. I noticed a wire was a bit unhappy and is a bit burned so im gona resolve that issue but strange how this is all ending up in the headlight department.

Ok So i found the issue. The ground going to the Headlight relay was pretty much melted. Thats what was causing all these problems. Replaced the ground. Added a secondary to the headlights and blamm no more issues.
