Electrical Issue, Need some help..
Sup all,
So last night I went out for a ride and everything is normal. Go out this morning for a ride and both turn signal indicators are staying on, all signal lights are also lit but very dim. The wierd thing is when you go to signal, it instantly stalls. If no signals are used it runs just fine. Also the low beam headlight is on but very dim also, high beam will not come on at all. I have checked all fuses and nothing has happened since it was running fine to explain this. If someone could help me out here I would really appreciate it, thanks.

RE: Electrical Issue, Need some help..
See:

Had the exact same problem - but mine was a bit more violent - bike just shut off - no headlights - etc. I ran a ground wire from the headlight harness - Green wire-directly to the fan ground- You'll see it on the left - seems to have cured my problem.
Wish this site would work correctly...

^^^ dude, thank you so much...problem is fixed. That would of taken forever to find something so simple. Checked out the plug and it had melted at the ground pin. Just by-pased the whole plug for the ground and everything is back to normal. Thanks again!

RE: Electrical Issue, Need some help..
Do you havestock lights/turn signals - No high wattage bulbs, original turn signals? - Mine were swapped for incandescent flushmounts - Not sure if that is enough extra draw to melt the harness or what - I should write up a complaint on NHTSA on this issue - seems to be a major safety concern (Bike stalls for no good reason suddenly).
Glad to hear everythings' working as it should be! - ENJOY!

RE: Electrical Issue, Need some help..
I noticed that riding with the brights on was consistent between your two senarios. Wiring is rated for certain wattages. Brights draw more and therefore produce more heat. The wiring can only dissipate it at a certain rate. If we can confirm the brights as the issue (as it would seem to be) then we have a solid case for using low beams only (which I do).
