No, not all. It is a common problem, some more than others. Some seem to go through them while others never need them. Howeever, if it gets enough miles on it, the cct (and every other part) will fail eventually.
Honda is always updating parts. I don't think they go out as often as the older bikes, but they're still a moving part that can fail. A bad cct is not the end of the world. It's a pretty simple repair and won't send you to the poor house.
if by problem you mean a noise, then yes. Otherwise no. on my bike, I don't find this noise to be a harmful to my bike, and I don't consider it a defect in the bike's design.
