Nate will back me up here when I say I have no regrets selling the F4i and moving up to the RR. The F4i is a great bike but the RR is that much better. Take the money and run.

I agree. I went from an 04 f4i to an 07 RR. It is just a better bike. It is definitely less comfortable, but it is not uncomfortable.

The only thing I do not like about the RR is that it is extremely uncomfortable for passengers, compared to the naner style f4. However, if you don't take passengers, I would highly recommend selling and upgrading as others have already advised you.

I don't know from firsthand experience and I only know this 1 instance but it is the only friend of mine that owns a 636 and thank god he had a warranty. His brain died not once but twice on him along with other problems (I can't remember exactly what they were it was a good year ago) I think it is a great looking bike and I have rode it and it does have a decent get up n go.

Also agree that its not as comfy as the f4i but is not uncomfortable.

Kawi and great only go together in my book when combined with the word fail also. Of the big 4 japs kawi is by far the least relaible.

Thanks everyone. Ryan I emailed you.

If everything goes as planned, the F4i will be sold tomorrow for $4000 cash. I plan on, and have my eye on a 2008 graffiti RR at the stealership. I AM NOT ONE to EVER buy from a dealership, esp since here in AZ you pay no sales tax on private vehicle sale, but I don't see any decently close deals on craigslist for a 2007/2008 RR at the moment...the F4i was my only form of transportation so I might have to bite the bullet, get raped at the stealership (even tho I know how to talk down and walk away so I'll do my best)...the one I'm looking at has 3000 miles on it and they want $8,500 lol...unless theyr willing to let it go for $7000 out the door tags/tax (and even then im getting raped) then ill still be looking...bikeless

If I could only find a pearl white 2007 or graffiti black 2008 for $5k then I could buy it privately

Edit: Or maybe this guy will flake (doesnt look like it though) and I'll end up keeping my baby for a tad longer...we will see!

Blake, Good luck with the sale of the F4i. $4K is a damn good price. Be happy with that. However $8500 is raping you on the 08. Maybe bikes hold their value more in AZ where you can ride it all the time . Buying privately would be ideal but sometimes you just cant. Hopefully the stealership will work out a deal with you. Good luck man and let us know what happens.

Thanks Ryan!

Quick question...will my DDM Tuning slim ballast 35W H7 8000k HID kit work on an 08 RR? If so, im taking that off before he comes to get the bike!

Well I am no pro at HID so maybe someone with more experience can chime in but I don't see any reason why they wouldn't work

Yes. They will.

Edit: RDub is right about that price being absurd. I got my 09 last year with 800 miles on it. Puig tinted windshield, yoshi slip on, fender elem, and seat cowl for 7 grand flat.

ive got an 07 crr 600 rr and i love it. its a good bike i paid $5000 for the bike, it has been kept up with very well with services and keeping the bike clean!
