Basically you guys are beat with getting an undertail that matches your bike, I also have a 06 pearl flash yellow f4i and i ended up getting an undertail that was a darker yellow because they havent matched the paint yet. You could paint the undertail but its going to cost you 150 for the 2 cans of paint then about 175 to have it painted then the cost to install it. You are better of just getting the undertail with the darker or lighter yellow and just putting it on it really doesnt look bad

You said you have an 06 flashing yellow? I thought they only came in shining yellow. 2002 f4i's are flashing yellow. What Im saying is that if I put on a flashing yellow tail cowl, will you notice the difference from my gas tank and other fairings, which are shining yellow?

I talked to peeps at honda and they sometimes have trouble even having the color code it was a true special blend...alot darker than previous yellow...go with black or titanium with yellow highlights

Here is a paint match you can buy and paint yourself , it comes in anaerosol can. It's just the undertail right https://www.colorrite.com/CRPLfactor...imageField.y=5

Hey 2006f4ido, you said you spoke to people at honda and they said the shining yellow (06)is darker than the flashing yellow (02)? I dont care about undertails, i have a fender eliminator..I'm talking about the rear plastic (everybody is mistaking me for talking about an undertail). Anyway you said to go with a black one? Did you mean a whole rear plastic?? Because thats what I need...not an undertail.
