RE: Did I lift the front?
i dunno i usually have the bike going 15-20mph, clutch in, rev to about 10k and slip the clutch out. i dont look but i did once since someone asked me. i go by sound. i know the OP wasnt looking to wheelie but just my exp. if you did wheelie you wonder have noticed the headlight go up and down a few times cause the f4i forks have this spongey feel to them

RE: Did I lift the front?
we had another whole post on this situation, i think its best to learn to power wheelie first, just to feel what its like to have the wheel off the ground. then learn to clutch it up in 1st, in first around 5500 or 6000k should be good, then you can learn 2nd and then 3rd gear staggard standups. http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...elie&hl=en that video is good, watch it and heed their advice. NO ONE THINKS HITTING YOUR REV LIMITER OR WHIPPING DOWN BUSY STREETS AT 100MPH IS COOL, if your trying to impress a girl she will think your just as cool driving by and just hitting your horn, you only attract attention to yourself in a bad way and give a bad name to others. I love wheelies ill do stand ups and sitdowns all day long but just be considerate of others.
